AT&T Door to Door Sales Reps

What is AT&T's standing on the dishonesty of the door to door sales reps? My mom has a bill that is almost $600 because the rep told her they would prorate her and start her on another plan. Not only did her internet get suspended, but he did not bundle her package (tv and internet) as he said he would and now she is getting the runaround. Two more reps (who have only been working there for 3 months) came out to try and assist her, neither were on the same page. Both kept interupting one another and had conflicting things to say. They spoke more of how the forms were filled out sloppily. Are you kidding me? All in all, they gave us no resolution and they themselves were unable to get a hold of anyone at AT&T. Something needs to be made right here. No one is taking responsibility for the lack of customer service and even more so, the fact that my Mom was taken advantage of.

ATT will take your money and not give you anything. They literally do not care.

That is what is seems like. I just don't understand how their business ethics are so lacking.

I had a little girl who is 10 or 11 who lives down the street come to my door about a half hour ago trying to get me to sign up for Uverse. I told her I already have it which I do. I'm not sure who to report this to and I'm hoping this is something AT&T doesn't condone.

If it involves a MINOR child, you need to report that to your local Police Department.

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

My mother and I had someone claiming to be from AT&T come to our door during dinner time. When we asked to see a business card or for a name he refused. He was asking very personal questions that we didn't feel comfortable answering, especially since my dad was out of town. My mom said she had something on the stove in an attempt to get him to leave and he said, "that's okay, I'll come in and help you cook." Very inappropriate. My mom politely refused and when she tried to close the door he actually stuck his foot in the doorway to block her from closing it and attempted to push his way in! At that point my brother stepped in and told him he needed to leave or we would be calling the police.
