Current customer Uverse pricing & service quality issue

Recently my Uverse TV/internet bundle went way up in price. I contacted customer service & was told that there were no promotions available. I was asked which were my favorite channels & package was changed to the Family Pack. Problem is that contains none of my favorite channels. Also prior to the price increase the quality of service had dropped. I frequently have the TV picture freeze & a message pops up saying "Uverse has lost connection" and my computer freezes up briefly. I noticed that Comcast has some promotions available with my favorite channels for $110mo plus faster internet.

Superfast 600Mbps+ Popular TV 125+ channels for $110.00/mo

Included:

Cloud DVR, HD technology, Streamplex

X1 TV Box value $8.50/mo

Additional X1 TV Box value $8.50/mo

Internet/Voice Equipment Rental value $14.00/mo

Total $110.00/mo

Is there a way to get a similar package from AT&T? Thanks.

At&t tv is no longer in existence it became Directv stream after being renamed numerous times(it started as directv now, then became at&t tv and at&t tv now, and then finally became Directtv stream, because att has no idea how to name products).

AT&T currently offers 3 products:

1)Legacy Uverse tv that is only offered to customers who already have it (although I've heard rumors that if you are desperate enough and live in uverse tv coverage area supplied via vdsl2 close enough to a node or fiber, and manage to get high enough up in at&t tech/customer support/sales (Edited per community guidelines) that it is technically still possible to get it as a new customer).

2)Directv stream- which is internet based and offered anywhere in the usa.

3)Directv satellite-requiring a satellite dish and usually a 2 year contract.  obviously a satellite requires access to southern sky and somewhere to mount it.

Directv stream is usually the cheapest for new customers, but you get what you pay for and its a dog of a product for people who watch lots of tv, frequently missing local and other channels in your region.

AT&T doesn't really have goals they just kinda do random stuff and hope for the best and hope their idea doesn't do horrible until after they get their bonuses.

AT&T likes directv stream because since its internet based it requires no techs to come out to run cables or fix it, so its cheaper for them.

There was DirecTV Now, which was essentially DirecTV service over the internet. AT&T started their own streaming service called AT&T TV.

AT&T then merged with DirecTV, so they had both AT&T TV and then renamed DirecTV Now to be AT&T TV Now.

They then merged AT&T TV into AT&T TV Now so they just had AT&T TV.

AT&T TV became DirecTV Stream once DTV was spun off.

While it’s true that Att is pushing U-verse TV customers to DirectvStream , DirectvStream is just another in the sea of OTT services out there.  Just need to meet the minimum bandwidth requirement.

And yes, DirectvStream is just the same product as the original Directv Now, just with a new name and some enhancements.
