Customer service
I am SOO mad. Our AT&T contract ran out last month. Our bill went up $70.00. I called Customer Service and talked to 2 techs. They we NO help. They said they couldn't do anything about it. I could cancel some of our services to lower our bill. I asked to speak to a superviser.. I was put on hold, she came back on and told me that the superviser said that he couldn't help me anymore than she could... She said she was a trained proffesional and was capiable of helping me with this...
I was told the bundle, that we have had for the last 6 years was no longer avaliable.. GO FIGURE. Before I called, I checked and they offer the same service that we have for $ 80.00 less than what they want to charge us, to new customers.... So a new customer is more important than an existing customer,??.. I don't understand it.. We were good customers and we are leaving !!!
We went to Time Warner Cable. For $100.00 less a month than what AT&T wants to charge us, we get more channels, higher internet speed, same phone.. Plus if they run a special all we have to do is go to the store and we get that special.
Mr. Ian and Ms.Lynn need to go back to Customer Service classes to learn how to be better customer service techs. so they can keep existing customers and get new ones... Or maybe care about their job.

How much will the Time Warner bill go up when that promotion is over?
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

If Time Warner does go up in 1 year I will still have saved over $1.200. That's alot of money. I have no qualms leaving either one. If I were a new customer with AT&T, I would get the same deal that I had for $10.00 less than I had before. GO FIGURE. I'm not important enough to keep. I refuse to spend $1.200 to stay with them. !!!! I recieved no respect and they didn't care if I stayed or not. In fact she said she could do nothing for me and wished me luck.

Call CS and say CANCEL, they should send you to Retentions that can offer something, but not as much as a 'new' customer. 😉

You received a discount for 6 years.
You are upset that AT&T is giving other people discounts for one year.
I don't think Ian or Lynn is that problem here.
BTW, if you refuse to pay regular price for anything, you aren't really a "good customer". You're an expensive customer and any company is going to prefer having a customer who pays without calling in on a regular basis.

LOL Miccheck.!! That's funny.... Just because we are exicting customers we are suppose to pay outrageous prices for services. I think not. !! I call customer service once a year. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BEFORE. They have always been very professional. We count. I called to cancel our service.(which I did) The customer service tech offered a 1 year contract of $129. plus tax. GO FIGURE. Old customers do count. We do deserve to have a break in the price because we a worth it.. Always been a good customer !!
