Death of a customer
I'm the executor for Rick Angle's estate. His account number is [EDITED]. His phone number the account was based on was [EDITED}. As executor, I continue to get a notice of a credit on his account. I've requested that the refund be sent to me so as to include it in his estate's assets. However, I've only received notices of credit.
With other businesses, I've been able to email scanned copies of his Death Certificate and Letter Testamentary in order to deal with Rick's accounts. I personally am very vulnerable to the Covid 19 virus. And, as such would greatly prefer to not have to visit one of your stores when it's really unnecessary. I was able to cancel his account on May 6th, confirmation #R21251153649300.
Is there not an email address that I can send the scanned documents mentioned above?

This is not Customer Service. This is a customer populated forum. No one from AT&T will see your post.
AT&T does not use an email address for CS. If you are not comfortable taking all necessary documents into a corporate store, Google search for AT&T's corporate address and send correspondence certified mail.

This is definitely that moment when someone who went to law school doesn't know to post personal info on a public site.
Don't you have to be some sort of smart guy to go to law school?

@baseballisback Anyone can be an executor of an estate. It takes no knowledge of the law.....just someone willing to do it. It is best to have guidance from someone who is familiar with estate law but that's not always the case.
And yes, you have to have some 'smarts' to go to law school!
