destruction by fiberoptic cable installation
Our neighborhood has been ravaged by groups of men who seem to be tearing up everyone's lawn. We are not talking about small tunnels for cables...these are tremendous holes that go
on for several feet and in most yards occur in several places.
My yard has not been done yet. When I asked one of the workers what will happen when they
destroy my irrigation system and my Dogwatch system, he said, "we'll fix it." Really?? It is
winter and systems are not on, so there is no way to check that pipes have been fixed.
I want someone from the company to contact me asap! We have homeowner covenants and
anything destroyed has to be fixed properly. I suspect that most of us will not only NOT switch to your cable, but will drop AT&T phone lines that we have if this situationis not resolved properly.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

@nridge47 Contact ATT Customer Care on the link in my signature below.
Send them a Private Message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your cable install problems.
Include your name, address or (if you have) account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.
Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. They can do more than any phone rep and stick w/it till it's done. Good luck 😉
Chris

AT&T fiber optics cut a main water line 8 inches from my home. They dumped 39 thousand gallons of water on my home. When I arrived home from work my home was flooded and AT&T was no where to be found. I found the city of Houston back hoeing their mess. They said they dug where the water lines were not marked and hit a main water main. Finally someone came out and he was extremely young and said it was not their fault. 5 days later I was still sitting in a hot wet mess. I had to hire an attorney who would agree to dry out my house so I would not have mold. I did have black mold from the wet insulation and sheet rock. I am still living in a house that has been stripped down to the studs. My attorney went after my home owners policy for breach of contract. I feel so victimised. I had to pay a 500.00 deductable have the claims on my record on my home owners policy and pay some lawyer 3 thousand dollars. I am still not whole again. I did not get enough from my home owners after paying attorney fees. I am such a victim here.Their contractors pulled off the down spouts from my home to use for something I do not know what, The dug up my front yard and it does not have the water line running through it. I don't even know how to go about getting this resolved but trust me I will not give up. The person they did send out initionaly sent out kept saying they would take care of me. By day 5 i contacted an attorney and day 8 the restoration company arrived. I had to leave the house with my pets for 5 days. One year prior I had my whole house remolded but today I am still living in a very dusty enviroment with the house torn down to the studs. This happened December 3rd 2015. I did file a complaint with AT&T and Texas Attorney General. I work 2 jobs to pay for my home. My used to be dream home. Now it is a nightmare. Loosing a home in a flood is devestating. Loosing my home to negligence due to flooding is a life altering experience I would not wish on anyone. In these type of situation they should have a team of people counselors that come out immediately and get the home owners resetteled away from the damage and constant communication is a must. Please this is Texas and we need the house dried out immediately. For the victim's piece of mind.

AT&T also significantly damaged our yard during the Feb 2017 fiber optic installation in the neighborhood. No one notified us that 2 large boxes would be installed (in addition to the 3 boxes already in our side yard)...during which our lawn was completely torn up. Damages include 1) not sodding all areas of installation 2) where sod was placed, it was lazily planted directly on top existing soil (vs. properly excavating the soil) therefore sitting 3-4" above existing ground 3) a large pile of dirt was left along the fenceline (vs. hauling it away) burying our current grass (left to die). On top of it all, our sprinkler head was buried and we had to remove all sod/dirt/debris ourselves to ensure the lawn would be watered. AT&T PLEASE PROVIDE A LINK WHERE WE CAN FILE OUR DETAILED COMPLAINT + PICTURES + PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ORDER TO RECTIFY THE DAMAGES.

Property Damage Claims
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

I have the same issues with AT&T tearing our yard up and leaving it unfinished. They expect us to take the time and money to repair their mess???
I will not even consider their fiber optic service due to this.
