Reward card scam
Judging from the posts, I am not the only one taken in. There was supposed to be a $200 reward card for originally signing up. It never arrived. A phone call informed me that it took a couple of months to process....piffle. A second call resulted in an apology for no card and by way of recompense, high (?) speed internet was offered as a sop. Again no card!. Called again and received another apology, a promise to correct the situation and...would I like to try the U300 service? This was January....waited on the 300 channels, they never arrived...the card never arrived...if fact, nothing arrived.
Called again yesterday, went through a supervisor for whom English was not a native tongue. Finally received the 300 channels only to find out I had been paying for them since January. But, bright spot, the upgrade came with another reward card....which was never received.
Finally was referred, for the first time to the reward center and was informed...SORRY, time has elapsed, we sent you a letter.
How many others have been scammed by this crap? It will make a great episode for Judge Judy.

Today they had the NERVE to send me a blue envelope with a little round
sticker on back, that looks like a wedding invitation, party invitation,
whatever. IT WAS AN ATT PROMISE THAT IF I SWITCH TO ATT, I WOULD GET A $100
GIFT CARD. !!!! Scammers with money like ATT are scamming us. BUT they need
us to buy their services. I let everyone I know that this is an ATT scam
and not to change their providers to get this IMAGINARY card

This is a bait-and-switch scam by ATT to rip-off their customers. This is not a mistake. I was told I'd get a $100 rewards card and never did. I called twice and was disconnected both times. On the 3rd call I was told I was supposed to redeem it on line, and they were very sorry, but it had now expired. After threatening to throw all their equipment in the garbage and cancel my service, he then lied to me and told me he will re-issue me another card and mail it to me. It never arrived.

This is a bait-and-switch scam by ATT to rip off new customers. This is no mistake. I was told I would receive a $100 gift card by mail within 30 days. It never arrived. I placed 2 calls to customer-no-service and was disconnected both times. On the 3rd and final call I was told that I should have redeemed the rewards card online, and they were very sorry, but it had now expired. After threatening to throw all their equipment in the garbage and cancel my service he then told me they authorized a new card to be sent to me. It never was.

I have the same issue! I called to see what promotions they have on wireless. The guy who helped me told me to buy one and get one free. However, to qualify for it, I had to ad another line or get a bundle (U-verse an internet) I asked for prices and so on. The guy told me also, I could get a visa rewards for $400. Now, I’m on the phone as I Write, and I have been 2 hrs. and no resolution. I have spoken with 7 people.... this is insane! The lady who finally took my phone call is telling me that the most the give is $100. So, I have requested to listen to my conversation with the guy who sold that to me. I have to wait five days. I hope they call me. I can not believe a company like this one offers something they can not deliver. By the way, it was mi second call to get a sales person. The first one I called days before, offer me $300. Something is wrong with this company. This is not right! Hope someone would investigate about this.

How can you redeem at the site if it never arrives in the first place?

To answer your question, you can just visit the site and enter your information and it will show you the rewards you are set up for. If you do this within the time limit, then you have a place to argue from if you don't see them. If you don't see them, and you're beyond the time limit, you're out of luck.

If it’s been greater than four weeks since you installed your qualifying service(s), try logging on to the Reward Center. All eligible rewards will be displayed on the Reward Center website."
But here it says, You will have a minimum of 30 days to claim your reward from the time you receive your Reward Notification letter. If you only have 30 days total how can you wait a month for the letter?
I have my installation scheduled for 8/7/2018. Can I just start checking the site a couple of weeks after installation? Why wait for the letter at all? Especially since your claim by date is on the site.
I was promised an Echo device and a $350 Gift card., & HBO & Cinemax for 3 months free too. I was given an extra $100 gift card when I called the retention department to cancel my order after all of the installation screw ups I had. I saved all of my online chats that confirm all of what was promised if I signed up. The agent also checked with the rewards center to confirm all of this during one of the many online chats I had. If I have trouble then I have it in writing to show the reward center. Will that suffice along with doing all of the redemption stuff to the letter?

The rewards card is still an ongoing issue. ATT installation was a nightmare initially with no one showing up, mis-information from the store on things, and now the reward issue. And here I dropped Comcast and moved to ATT. I've been tracking my reward; says estimated ship date was 12/11/18 for $200. Even had an email stating I was getting $200.00. I "chatted" with 3 people and it's all a script they read from. I'm finally told the system "kicked" out my reward because I didn't have uverse, so I'm not getting anything now. I told them I have 2 verifications of what I should be getting. They finally told me I could get $100; however, the reward won't show up on their reward website for 3-5 days. Then I have to wait a few weeks for processing. They don't want to give you that $. They make promises they can't keep and now I'm stuck in a year contract for internet with them.
