Why won't AT&T do the right thing in this case?

On 07/22/14, I called AT&T regarding "doing the right thing" by mailing me or crediting my account with a $100 (one hundred) dollars regarding the AT&T Prepaid Visa Reward card New Uverse customer signup promotion. (given to new residential customers who sign up for Uverse internet which I did as a new customer by installing Uverse Internet in January 2014)

I spoke with Samantha and her supervisor Erica at the AT&T rewards center on 07/22/14 regarding my $100 AT&T Prepaid Visa Reward card, They verified my Uverse account never did receive my $100 AT&T Prepaid Visa Reward card and the AT&T corporation procedures state that only active accounts are eligible to receive the $100 AT&T Prepaid Visa Reward card. My account with AT&T went inactive on 04.22.14.

I fulfilled the promotion rules(account must stay open for a minimum 30 days) and never received the card from AT&T.   Erica told me sorry there is nothing she can do to help me receive my $100 AT&T Prepaid Visa Reward card because my account is inactive. They only way she would send me my $100 AT&T Prepaid Visa Reward card if I opened up a new account or re-opened account ****   I am not going to give AT&T more money so they can pay me what they already owe me.

Anybody from AT&T do the right thing and help me?

Brad

I wish for my account (******) to be credited $100 ASAP so I can effectively and completely end my relationship with AT&T

If it's only $100, I would consider Small Claims Court.

Because of the principal of the matter(how I explained it to Erica on the phone today)

I am going to spend some time at this...It's not about the money anymore.

Small Claims here I come!

Better Business Bureau complaint already submitted!

Did you contact AT&T about the promotion before you disconnected your service in April?
