Adding TV = Adding Boxes??
I currently have a TV downstairs that is hooked directly to the uverse receiver. I also have a TV upstairs which is connected to a Wireless Access Point. I now have to add another TV downstairs in 3wks - for a total of 3 TV's by December. Will/ do I have enough equipment to run this 3rd TV? Also, does the fact the 3rd TV is a "SMART" TV have any bearing on the matter?

Smart TV might have a bearing if have DirecTv Stream, however for Uverse IPTV will need to add another receiver will corresponding $10 per month billing increase for extra receiver.
Does the tv have to have Uverse IPTV compared to adding a Roku as example and just stream service?

It's my understanding the WAP just is the bridge between the gateway and a receiver. I'd be interested to know how you're running U-Verse without a receiver.
With that said, I believe there is a U-Verse app for Amazon devices. This would eliminate the need for a receiver, although it doesn't have every feature of a receiver.
