Any TIVO users in this forum?

TIVO requires a Cablecard. AT&T doesn't know what that means. Does anyone out there use TIVO and know how to work around this issue? Or, where to obtain a Cablecard?

AT&T doesn't do CableCards.  At all.  Wrong technology stack.  If you have AT&T U-verse TV, then your TiVo will not be very useful at all.  If you don't have AT&T U-verse TV, you're posting in the wrong place.

Heck, you'd have trouble getting a CableCard from a CATV company these days.

Yea, I have a TIVO as well that right now is just sitting unplugged. I have no idea where to get a cable card for it or how to work around it. I have a lifetime for my TIVO so i would love to still be able to use it. Please let me know if anyone can help me with any ideas.

Use a tivo-compatible service. U-verse is not.
