AT&T new DVR self erasing

One month ago my DVR started acting up. It started self erasing programs, would abruptly stop in the middle of viewing a recorded program and a bar would pop up saying there was no connection and to retry. Also, when watching a recorded program a bar can pop up saying, PRESS OK for recordings. I finally called AT&T and they sent me a new DVR box, since I had the old one for about 10 years. After 5 days with my new DVR box, it has erased all but 3 recordings! Also, when watching a recorded program I am beginning to see the bars pop up when watching my recorded program again. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

Are you absolutely sure nobody else is deleting?

No one else is deleting. We have had AT&T uverse for 12 years and this only started happening 2 months ago. Also, when watching a recorded program it does abruptly stop and a bar pops up saying there is no connection or a bar pops up saying PRESS OK to browse recordings. We thought with a new DVR box it would fix the problem but it did not. Thank you for your response.

We are having the exact same problem. It also started 2 to 3 months ago.  It is only my wife and I in the house and we are both frustrated to see dozens of recoding disappear randomly over night. Yesterday we had about 12 or more recordings and today... Only one.  We had about 75% free space so it shouldn't be because it was out of space.
