AT&T U-Verse support - Missing in action

DVR has been functioning very poorly or not at all for almost a month now. All the rebooting & trouble shooting has not helped. Attempts at contacting support just lead you back to the self - help support website. Is there anyway to actually get AT&T on the phone or chat, to repair or replace the DVR? Is the Corona Virus keeping all AT&T support at home? has AT&T heard of working from home?
