Bad picture quality everything is in soft focus
I switched from DTV to Uverse, when I got a brand new Sony TV. I had a crappy old non DVR DTV reciever and the picture quality was better than Uverse. It looks like everything is in soft focus I called ATT and they swapped out the box and I changed the HDMI cables, in fact when I switched to componet the picture was slightly less blurry and the sound was better. I tested the TV and it is not the problem. Everything else has a clear crisp picture except for all of Uverse. This is not what I signed up for. Any insight on how to fix it?

@Cleverwabbit - Sounds like you have done the first step. With the current version u-verse does have a better picture with component than HDMI.
The second step is to adjust the picture settings in the TV. I cannot say how to do it, but it deos make a big difference.
Do you have the u-verse screen res set to match the TV. HDMI will force it to match, but component must be set. If it is on widescreen SD you might find the picture blurry.
