Beyond fuming by now.....
We'd night the wireless receiver went out in back bedroom. Troubleshooting didn't work. ATT sent a new one. Got it Sat. So TV has been out Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat. Saturday night the receiver still would not connect. So now ATT doesn't have a service person available tomorrow. Have to wait until Monday for someone to come out and check the issue. Have talked to four different people on the phone. They know I got a new receiver today. So for this whole holiday weekend we have been without a TV. And will be out until Monday. I don't know why this multi BILLION dollar company can't get someone out here tomorrow, Sunday...... Could spit bullets at this time.....

You should have an OTA antenna as a backup whether there's a service outage or other individual issues like a bad STB/DVR.
I'd lose my mind if I didn't have ANY TV reception so I keep an OTA antenna hooked up at all times so that I can at least get over-the-air programming in case my UV is out.
My 2 cents. Spend it wisely.

If you're getting the account settings error, contact ATT Uverse Care. They can fix the error code Monday in your account 10 mins after they acknowledge receipt of the PM
Click the ATT Uverse Care link in my signature below, send the PM, explain your account settings situation.
Include your name, account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on. They can do more than any phone rep.
Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉
