I received the BGW320 gateway. I have UVerse cable (coax)for a wired DVR modem. If I purchase the Actiontec enternet to coax HPNA adapter network home with satallite tv, will my cable DVR modem (VIP2262)work?

I cannot tell you that the specific HPNA adapter made by Actiontec will work, but in theory it should.

No, HPNA adapters are not that popular anymore and I don't have one that I'm currently using to recommend. That one is probably great and will work, I just can't give you any assurances of that.
