Blank screen and now Uverse won't connect - is this a universal issue?

Our screen went blank, we restarted and now it just continues to indicate cannot connect.  Is this everyone who has uverse experiencing this issue?

For the last 2 Sundays our cable at&t Uverse has also went out. We have tried everything! It's getting very annoying! It will not come on till tomorrow I bet just like last week!

I too am having the same issue. Tried restarting several times. Also restarted my gateway through the website. Problem still not fixed.

We did that too and it is still not working, I chatted with the online support and I am now being transferred to a tech. Since the wait time is over 10 minutes I am guessing there are more people as well.

Technical support did confirm there is an outage in my area (I'm in Michigan if that helps).

What's funny is my DVR is working but my other STB isn't. All my other services are working tho.
