Cable box lights all on, no picture.

One of three cable boxes is acting up. Says it does not have signal available. Tried resetting, no go. Over night unplugged then worked for one hour the next morning then said no signal available. All lights are on even when the power was disconnected.

TV says "no signal"?  If so I suggest you check the input select on your tv (read user manual if you don't know how) to verify your tv is taking input from the hdmi connection (or whatever) you have connected to the dvr/receiver.

The same thing happened to me once--verify your input as xyzzy suggests.  If this is OK, then it's pretty likely that your box has died.  Call AT&T Tech Support to verify--if this proves to be the case, they should send a new box in a very short time.  Be sure to follow all the instructions for the return of the old box, and save the documentation regarding shipping and delivery.  Good luck.

The TV receives just fine for a few hours then just shuts down. I suppose I
can take that questionable box into another room and see if it does the

If the STB in question still has power when it's not plugged in, you my friend, have a possessed box.  Smiley Frustrated
