If the wall socket is a RJ11 (telephone) jack that connects to the green RJ11 telephone jack then for say, up to about 35 feet (mabye even up to 50 feet) just get a telephone extension cord.
If the wall socket is a RJ45 ethernet socket that connects to the red ONT RJ45 socket then that for fiber service so get a ethernet cable.
These cables can be usually found in many places like hardware stores or on line from Amazon, or my favorite, monoprice.com.
