Charged $150 for an extra box in our apartment
We were charged $150 installation fee for an extra cable box in our apartment and never told about this fee. We were told that the extra box would cost an extra $7-10 per month by the AT&T rep on the phone and the technician who came out to our place. Really? How deceitful can you be. I really question the integrity of AT&T.
We called and spoke with a two and all they do is apologize. It is obvious that the reps are not consistent and lack training in this area. This is crucial information that the customer needs to know! We were not provided all the information and the reps and company is very dishonest.
We need this fee to be waived or we care willing to pay $50.00 for the installation fee. We are also thinking about taking our business elsewhere.

Was this for NEW service install?
If it was on an established account, did they send you a wireless box for self-install or did a tech show up and install it for you? There is a one time fee for a wireless box of $49 for self-install. Tech install (truck roll) is $99.
Details of the $150 should show on your bill.
Edit: Is this for Uverse TV service or DirecTV?
