Cisco ISB7005 wireless receiver not powering up correctly

My Cisco ISB7005 wireless receiver suddenly stopped powering up correct.   It was working fine until  I had to unplug to do some “cord management”.   Plugged back in and three light on front just repeated flash together now ( link, HD, record).  Tried unplugging, tried holding power off for 10 sec.. when powered back up, nothing, and TV  screen says  no signal.   Help....

I'm encountering the same issue with one of my wireless receivers today.

After having written this, I tried the procedure found elsewhere in this forum where you unplug the power (and HDMI) from the receiver for 10 sec, plug back in until the 3 dots show up, then unplug again, and repeat two more times.  Note: the three dots never did show up, so i just waited 10-15 sec on the power up as well.  I did not appear to work, so I walked away frustrated, resolved on having to call AT&T Tech service today when I had 2-3 hrs to waste, waiting in the queue from (Edited per community guidelines), only having to end up getting a new receiver.

Interestingly enough, I happened to walk by the room an hours or so later and saw the lights now out with  just the power light flashing dimly green.   So I performed the seemingly regular process of depressing the power button for 10 sec, and said a prayer....

It’s working now!  Good luck to you!!

For future reference, when doing a reboot of any receiver, you don't unplug the HDMI.  You unplug the power cord.  Wait 20 secs. and return the POWER cord.

-OR-

Press the oval button on the front of the receiver.

Thanks, seemed odd to me as well, but I was just following a procedure somewhere on this forum, so i thought ok... nothing else worked 🙄.  And can’t hurt!    I tried pressing the oval button many times for 10 plus seconds.. This is a very random, regular and annoying need on all of my AT&T receivers.   Usually works.  This was something different.   Thanks again.. love the quote, have used it myself 👍👩🏿‍🦲
