Continuing DVR Drama

After finally somewhat resolving my issue with recordings being deleted randomly, now every recording has a black bar at the bottom that says “Press ok to browse a list of recordings “ which doesn’t allow me to fast forward without sending me back to the “press ok...” screen. I then have to select my show and “resume playing”. Has anyone ever seen this before?
