I am cancelling my U-verse TV service. I need to know how to disconnect the TV receiver box from the TV, while maintaining my Internet/WiFi and phone services.

Unplug all the cables connected to the receiver. Call att to cancel your service. Take the receiver and remote to a ups store. Keep the paperwork the ups store gives you. Note that you will pay for a full month of service. Even if you cancel part way into the month.
