Although it shows that there is one hour and three minutes recorded for a TV show, the DVR keeps stopping at 47 minutes and will not play the rest of the recording.
@FamSpiv- I had this many years ago - My theory was it is a basd spot on the hard drive. When you erase the recording, you make the space available for another recording that will be incomplete.
The solution is to leave the recording ("saved"). This will occupy that block & prevent selecting it again for another recording.
After saving, therewere no more partial shows. After some time I needed a new DVR.
I suppose you could have more than onbad spot & need to save more recordings.
By save, I mean set the option to - save until I erase.

You can try rebooting dvr by pressing power button for 10-15 secs and see if it will work.
