DVR record series jumps to on demand

when trying to set a series to record (Gotham),  I go to manual record, search, type in Gotham.  Instead of allowing me to set the series to record, it brings up all of the episodes within on demand?  How can I set this series to record without always do so through the guide?  I'd like to set some things up well ahead of time and it's not always shown in the guide.

Choose the one that just says Gotham TV series, not the Gotham HD TV Series, this is the On Demand one. 😉
