Formula 1 coverage on NBCSN Where is it?!

My DVR recorded the Australian GP but now it cannot find Malaysian or any future F1 races.  What happened to the F1 coverage?!

The Malaysian GP was last weekend. Here is the rest of the schedule and where you can watch them....

I understand... MY DVR did not record the Malaysian GP, and it says there are no future recordings scheduled.  When I manually scroll through NBCSN channel for next sunday morning it shows paid progamming and no F1 coverage.  Where did the races go?

Sorry, I checked the guide and you're right, it's not listed. No idea why. FWIW, my dvr did record the race in Malaysia but I don't have it on series record, I selected it a day or so before from the guide.

Why isn't the Chinese Grand Prix listed on the U-Verse guide when it IS listed on NBC/SN's site?  Isn't it obvious?  The ATT U-Verse team is the most incompetent gang around, the user interface is horrid, the guide is often wrong, the features are pathetic.  They stay in business, as far as I can tell, as many folks like myself have no reasonable alternative.  I never had these sorts or problems with DirecTV/Tivo, but at my current house I am not allowed to install a dish (and don't have a location with southern exposure even if I was allowed).  Its really annoying.

My Guide says it's 1:30am EDT on 4/12(been there a couple days).  FYI TV does all the Guide programming info, blame them. 😉

"TV does all the programming"?  What does that mean?  Are you saying ATT U-verse has nothing to do with how data appears on the U-verse guide?  Nonsense.

Now the practise, qualifying, and the race for the Chinese Grang Prix indeed are in the guide on channle 1640 (NBCSN).  I have series record set for all 3 and the practise and qualifing were picked up, but for the race series it still shows 0 scheduled.  Whose fault is that?

ATT takes the FYI TV data and sends it as the Guide info directly, that's the job they do for many companies/TV stations.  If things are wrong we can get them changed through certain ATT personnel.

Have a hunch your Series is not spelled exactly the way the race is.  I recently had one that dropped the "!" from the name and I almost missed it as my Series had the "!" in the title.  Sports can be bad as they can change things at any time. 😉

I would say yours.  I have a series recording setup for channel 1640, and it shows the race scheduled for 4/12 at 12:30 am CT.

Obviously you know nothing about technology.  The fact that they got it right for you, in no way means that its my fault my box is not picking it up for me.  My series recording picked up the first two races, on the same channel, but now its not seeing the 3rd.  I have made no changes at all.  Please tell me how that is possibly my fault?  Come on smart guy explain it.

I'll give you another possibility why it didn't pick it up.  The Series may be linked to a certain time to look, such as 'Around 10pm", so it'll look from about 8p to 12 mid for it.

@had you had it set to 'Any day, any time' or 'Any day any time, once per day' it would have picked up the race @ 1:30 am EDT. 😉
