Has anyone noticed issues with no sound lately thr last few weeks? /HDCP issues?

So uverse tv receivers have always had issues with when you first turn them on having a bad HDCP handshake and faoly to produce sound on TV.  But in the past its always been something that happened very occasionally and was usually solved by just turning tv/stb(using uverse remote on/off for both) off and on again and getting the HDCP synced again.

But the last few weeks all of my stbs wireless, wired, and dvr have been doing it all the time and sometimes it isn't solved on the first off/on cycle.

It just seems odd it would happen all of sudden to multiple boxes if it wasn't a software issue?

I had that issue on a wireless box recently.  A reboot corrected the problem.

@skeeterintexas sadly reboots have not fixed it.  Again it doesn't happen 100% of the time.  But it's starting to happen quite often sometimes multiple times per day sometimes once every couple of days.  Happens on all 4 of my stbs.  Pace 8010(dvr), moto vip2500(wireless), Cisco isb7005(wireless), Cisco is 7000(wired).

Probably unrelated but I've my vip2500 has also been disconnecting from wireless at least 1-2 per day the last week and the reconnecting itself after a few minutes.  (But doesn't do a full reboot).  I wonder if there is some sort of update that is stuck.

I haven't been tracking receiver software versions, so I couldn't tell you if one has come out.  I'd be shocked if anything other than vulnerabilities were being worked on.

I mean by "update" it could just something minor like the listings update or some sort of syncing with guide.  The wireless boxes always seem to have more stability issues then wired.  Unless it becomes a real problem I just ignore thay issues. The audio startup hdcp issue is much more annoying.

I myself haven't had an audio issue due to HDCP.  When I have an HDCP issue, it's a complete loss of video and audio and a video still telling me that the HDCP has failed.  Sometimes I can soft turn off both boxes and disconnect them and power them back up and reconnect them and it will work.  Others I have to completely power off the receiver.  So far it's only the DVR that has this issue... but it's by far the most used receiver.
