How to watch only the last half hour on demand
I DVR’d survivor last night, but for some reason it only recorded 2 hours and 6 minutes. I want to watch the last 27 minutes. I just found it on demand but I’m apparently going to have to watch for 2 hours before I get to where I left off? I miss Comcast. They allowed me to fast forward to where I wanted to start and then watch the commercials there. I understand the need for the commercials, but to not allow me to start where I want in the program is beyond frustrating. Please tell me there’s a way to move way ahead in a longer program.

Same happened with me. Thank goodness I was home and watched the last 20 mins. live to see who won but I noticed when I went to watch the rest that I had DVR'd, those last 20 mins. were missing. I blame this on CBS for the scheduling of the live finale. Also, if I had DVR'd the reunion show (oversight on my part), it would have caught the missing 20 mins.
Unfortunately, there is no way to FF through a 'commercial' On Demand program. Premium channels? Yes. Commercial channels? No. I'm going to start it playing on another TV and come back to watch it. You can rewind but not fast forward. (news flash: they don't want you FFing through the commercials)
