In Store Cancellation

If I bring my cable box and remote to the store, will I be able to cancel service? I don't have time to sit on the phone and would rather go in person.

DO NOT take your equipment to an ATT store.  You must call CS to cancel.  They'll email you instructions in how to return their equipment.  It must be taken to a UPS store where it will be shipped back free of charge.

Call 1-800-288-2020 and say 'cancel'.  Be warned...they'll do their best to convince you otherwise. 

 

You have 21 days to return the equipment via a UPS store.

@Keira2000   They will charge you full amt of the lost equipment and need to pay it.  Possibly can recoup that cost by your insurance or charging the shippers. Smiley Surprised

I returned the equipment to an UPS store and they gave me back the Wireless Access Point and said I needed to send it thru the mail. Is that true?
