Intermittent UVerse TV signal drops
One of our TVs, the main, seems to get a "hitch" every few minutes. The picture pixellates and then stops for about a second or two before catching back up again. It happens on different channels.
The other day, the signal was lost long enough that a message popped up telling me to start resetting components. But the signal came back and the message was cleared befire I could read all it said.
Is there a precedure for resetting the receiver? Any troubleshooting tests that can be done? This started a couple days ago.

@KSPilot If the DVR functions are still not working properly, try a Non-Destructive Disaster Recovery.
Unplug the power cord of the DVR from the wall or from the back of the box and wait ten seconds. Plug the DVR back in.
When three white dots appear on the screen, unplug the DVR again. Repeat this process two more times.
Plug the DVR back in on the third time and leave in. Three white dots appear followed by a gear with a status bar at the bottom of the screen.
If the Disaster Recovery screen does not appear, repeat the steps above. If the Disaster Recovery screen appears, wait until completion.
If the Non-Destructive Disaster Recovery does not work, follow the steps for a Force Disaster Recovery
Re-downloads all the software. Will not erase recordings, takes a bit of time or so. I do one every few months to get rid of any bugs in the software. Good luck 😉

@KSPilot - Good to hear you are working again. It often seems a cliche to recommend a reboot, but it does work & is easy to do.
Sounds like you kind of backed into it with the trouble shooter & you are not sure what was rebooted.
The problem you described can be caused by the RG. Although, it would affect all your STB/TVs.
It can return every few weeks. If it does do a pull the plug reboot on the RG.

@KSPilot - It is unikely that your second box needs rebooting. Maybe even the first TV box did not need rebooting. Although, it would be more likely if it is the DVR & one you do use a lot.
The most likely box to need rebooting is the RG (aka modem). Is it a 3800 or 3801 or another model?
The original post saying it was a problem on only one TV is a mis-direction. It was on only one TV because you are only using one. To say one TV as a symptom for analysis, all the others have to be checked.
So, I tried to ease into suggesting it is the RG, based on you original description. I have to be more confident that it is the RG based on you saying, you are not using the other STB.
I can only guess at what is happening. It is not cast in concrete.
You need to find your RG & be prepared to pull the power & restore the power when the TV starts to act up again. Either that, or call att & have them restart it remotely.
