Is there a way to record more than 4 shows at once

I currently have Directv with two DVR's one is Genie that records 5 shows at once and the other is a standard DVR that records 2 shows.  I am thinking of switching to Uverse but my wife and I might record 5 or 6 different shows at the same time.  Is there a way to record more than 4 shows at once using Uverse Whole Home?  Can you have two DVR's that would allow you to record up to 8 shows at the same time?
