Is there any ATT help out there?
I am having continuous problems with my DVR holding onto the recorded programs. Calling Customer Support just means they go through the standard troubleshooting script. I am on my third DVR and still having the same problem. I've had UVerse for a number of years, and only started having this particular problem in the last year or two. Clearly, there is some kind of systemic problem. Is there any real technical support out there somewhere that can explain what is happening?
Until this evening, I had about 7 programs saved on my DVR. I do record series (multiple episodes of a show). They are set up as "keep until I erase." This morning, I added a single recording of a single show. I know that it was recording that show. This evening, that recording was gone, as were two episodes of one saved series, and an episode of a different saved series. I routinely have > 80% space available on my DVR. It's just, at some point, it decides to delete some stuff, for no discernible reason.
The service is just not working. I am going to have to cancel because this is just frustrating and ridiculous. Is there any real technical support available? Surely, there are people who understand this system.

Been having the exact same issue. You may notice your recording settings get changed as well...randomly. Replaced dvr but that only cures the problem for about 2 months until it comes back. I have been offered no remedy.

I was asked to do a non-destructive reset. I haven't had problems since that. But, this problem shows itself every few months, so I am not optimistic that this has solved the problem. It seems to me the software is working in a very different way than it did prior to the past couple of years. Thank you for your message of a similar problem.
