Missed Recordings due to conflict
Is there a way to see, after a recording time has passed, that it was missed due to a conflict (or other reason) ...list of missed recordings?
How about a daily email indicating that there are conflicts to resolve?

Check the Scheduled Recordings, conflicts show up usually days b4 the recording date being Xd out. 😉

I do like the suggestion to notify should a recording conflict appear during the background specific scheduling. Either e-mail (similar to that applied to telephone message) and/or a message on the TV.
I am curious - Have you had it happen? I ask because I have not had a problem in eight years, although 90% of viewing is via recordings.
Recording onflicts are are identified when initiially scheduled. The only possibility I can think of for "hidden" conflict is series recordings for any time & the programming changes.
This does remind me that the live & recording viewing conflict resolution seems backwards. It asks which I want to watch. I have already done that & the schedule has a problem. The right question is which one do I want to eliminate.
Also, when watching live & there is a conflict, there are two button choices of what to do - watch a recording or kill another TV. The second choice needs a lot more - like what are the channels on what STBs - To allow a decision & allow a user selection of which specific STB.
But, there is an unspecified third choice that works - select a channel that is already being watched. How can I know what those channels are? Need to show the list of channels in use.

I've recently come from an environment where I had 10 tuners (6+2+2) in my network, and never had to think about conflicts. With the new season upon us I have been scheduling a lot of shows, and have found myself shifting to later repeats of new episodes (A&R, History Discovery etc). It makes it difficult to schedule as "First run only".

You had an open door with all the shows available to all those tuners. U-verse is much more restrictive in channel availablity & you do have to work harder.
As mibsurg suggests, checking the schuuled list once a day is a good idea. I do think it is more of a problem getting started - once you are in a routine it will level out.
If you are shifting some shows to off-hours - be sure to shift the series, so you do not have to do it again each week.

Since you manually set up these 'cable' channels, you have the ability to record them at the later time (when you see an X) and still get them recorded. Since I've had 4HD, only 2 times I've had to manually choose the later program and it was this summer, not the fall season.
