need to be able to understand what the people are saying in call centers around the world

I have just had fiber optic installed and have several questions I need help with. I wear hearing aids and can't understand the call center people overseas...accent too heavy and too much background clutter. I need a number to call for state side help... Im already regretting switching from spectrum, at least they have good customer service.

Evening! @pyrowillie!

It's nice to hear from you again. I'm very sorry to hear you're interaction with our agents has been less than faborable! It's always a pleasure to help!

What you are referring to is known as a relay call. We have a different department which handles these calls with the outmost care.  To get to a specially trained agent in these calls you can dial 7-1-1 with your TTY from anywhere in the U.S.

If you prefer, you can also chat with me. I am happy to help in anyway I can. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. If you want to chat, please send me a private message, and we can get started.

I really appreciate your time and patience with the matter. Have a fantastic rest of your day! Best regards.
