Need to know the maximum number of wireless TV receivers you can have. I want 5

I have ATT Uverse 450 with home or Mother DVR that is connected to the ATT WiFi and two wireless TV receivers and two that I have not connected becaus I was told in the future ATT would have the capability to have unlimited wireless receivers. Why (if you still are) limited to only two wireless receivers? I was told last year by a technician that before long you could make the entire home wireless for and unlimited number of TV's. I have a total of five TV's I want to connect. Please advise.

Yes AT&T is planning to have more then 2 STBs allowed, Yes there are accounts with 3-4 wireless STBs active and working currently, No you wouldnt be able to have more then 2 currently as the only accounts who do are testing accounts.

AT&T is still working out quality issues with having multiple wireless streams broadcasting within the home.

I was told last year by a technician that before long you could make the entire home wireless for and unlimited number of TV's.

Before long can mean 2 or more years.

We have had 5 total receivers (2 wired, 3 wireless) since we moved to this house nearly 4 years ago. We are not a "test" home. 5 was the max when we signed up.

Re: the WAP - when ordering the first wireless receiver for my home, does AT&T provide the WAP as well?
