No service for paying customers

My ATT Uverse service is out. I call the customer service number and the horrible automated voice service was just the beginning. After I make it through the voice service lack of understanding I get the customer service rep who is more than unhelpful at best. She ran a few test that showed her the obvious problem that I had. Only to tell me that no one can help me with my problems today until tomorrow. My problems did not happen tomorrow they happened today. I can understand no T.V. and still have Internet or vice versa. But I have no service at all. My question is how is this possible and What The ****?
