Not Allowed to be a U-verse Customer
You have a customer who WANTS to sign up for U-verse, yet she's not allowed to do so! Why? Because I refuse to bundle it with my Internet service. I don't want to do that. Why should I have to just to get U-verse on my TV? This should be an unfair business practice. Isn't this like a monopoly? How unfair!! I have waited twice for an installer to show up, both times to have the appointment cancelled at the last minute because I refuse to disconnect my Internet service. The people at my local AT&T store are very nice (Del Monte Shopping Center, Monterey, CA) but they finally gave up and could not help me. I am so unhappy with AT&T and am ready to call my Congressman!

Which TV service, UverseTV or DirecTV? Do you have AT&T DSL or Uverse internet or do you have a different internet provider (ie: Brighthouse/Spectrum/etc.)?
Uverse internet and Uverse TV come into your home "together". So if you have Uverse internet and you're wanting Uverse TV, yes they are 'bundled" because they share the same Residential Gateway.
If you have a different internet provider, you can get Uverse TV without Uverse (AT&T) internet.

I get my Internet service through Redshift, a local ISP.
I was trying to sign up for U-verse TV.
This does not seem fair or right, and should be illegal.

You were told that you couldn't get Uverse TV without signing up for Uverse (now AT&T) internet?
See this thread. There is a link to ATTCares in post #4. You can PM them to see if they can help you out.
