Playing their run around game
I have been an att customer for over 7 years. I moved to my new address 2 weeks ago. A tech came to install, said they had to dig a wire it should only take a week.
2 weeks later, 5 hours on the phone with several different supervisors. They have changed my dig date 4 times.... still no dig ... still no service. Complained several times I am using my cell phone data, no one seems to care.
A supervisor called this morning to state that the dig was complete and waiting for a managers approval to reschedule install. No one has been out here to dig. Several plans cancelled sitting at home waiting for them to communicate when they are coming out.
My last phone call with a customer service agent he told me he was not able to speak to me per the note because someone from the tech/ dig company was going to be in contact.
I am nearing almost 3 weeks without install or a dug wire. They are charging me for service I do not yet have and making me spend extra money on my phone plan due to their issue.
I have to play a guessing run around game, go through several automated numbers to speak to anyone. All they tell me is I am sure they will be out I doubt they won’t show up for a 4 th time ....

Call customer service. Say cancel. When you talk to someone, explain the situation. This department may provide more help in completing your install. Do either one of your next door neighbors or neighbors across the street have service?

We already asked about a temp line and they told us no we have to wait for the dig
