Reading DVR from receiver behind second router
I have a 2-wire router(HGV 3800-B) and have two other receivers connected through home LAN network on my U-Verse setup. I joined an internet survey group that required installing a second router feeding through my 2-wire router. At first I ran all LAN cables through 2nd router but found I couldn't access DVR on-line so I routed that cable back to the 2-Wire. But, I still can't access the DVR from the other receivers. Is there some way I can resolve this problem or should I replace those receivers with the WiFi setup?

Some routers are able to pass the traffic successfully to U-verse IPTV gear, but most are not. The AT&T IPTV gear shouldn't be included in your Internet Usage measurements anyway (well, except for Stingray, maybe). Use the provided router to connect all your non-U-verse-IPTV gear.
If you had cable TV, you wouldn't hook your Set Tops up through this box, would you? Same deal.

Some 3rd party routers will work if they have the 802.1P protocol and IGMP snooping. And you really have to know what to do to make it work. 😉
