Receiver wont map to 2wire

We had a thunder storm the other night. Since the storm, I can not get one of my receivers to map to the wireless network. I have tried (several times) to map it using the wps button process ( as described on my screen and in forums). This process does not work. Is my receiver fried? Is there another process that I can use to connect?  I have another wireless receiver that is functioning properly so the problem is not my gateway.
