Recording

Why can't ATT record ALL the football game? I'm constantly missing the last 5-8 minutes of the game. Comcast automatically goes over with rec when the game runs long. Are they better than ATT? No? Then please fix it. And before I get bombarded with well meaning answers I don't want to record the following program to ensure it gets it all. You don't always remember that and shouldn't have to. Voice remote, recording game overages is something ATT MUST be capable of.

You don't have to record the next program.  Just add a bit of time...15 or 30 mins.  You either get in the habit of adding time to the game or you miss the last few minutes.  Your choice.

Or switch to the competition...Comcast.
That's my point. Competition. It's what drives product improvement and keeps prices down.

Brilliant.

U-verse has a fine DVR.  American Football games are notorious for running longer than their allotted time.  The DVR has provisions to record beyond the standard 3 minutes.  Check it out via record options.  This can be done for one show or an entire series.
