Recordings not allowing fast forward

Received a new box a few weeks ago. Everything was working fine until one day I went to fast forward a recording, the recording  gets stuck everytime so I have to click out and scroll through the menu until it starts. 

The issue I’m having is with the secondary box, but I’ve already unplugged and replugged many times, restart, and even reset up the box with the WPN access screen, still have the same problem. 

Want to find out what else I could do?
