Red 6

One of my TV have a red x and 6 under it. I have tried resetting it, unplugging it for 10 seconds. Still a red x and 6. Can we fix this?

Download client. Non-connection error, no network error, or location issue. Already in disaster recover (DR) state.

I assume this is the tv connected to the dvr?  The way I read that error is it could be a "fatal" error to the hard drive in the dvr and it's trying to do disaster recovery.  If that's what's going on I would leave the message displayed for maybe 15 minutes to see if it continues into the boot sequence.  If it doesn't then refer to How to Troubleshoot your DVR/Receivers whose last step is also disaster recovery if all else fails before reaching that step.  Disaster recovery reformats the hard drive so that can take some time.  End result is you lose all your recordings but not your scheduling.

At the end of this process if the dvr cannot boot up you need to call tech support (800-288-2020) for a replacement.  With that you also lose all your recordings (which by this point are lost anyway) but again not the scheduling.  IMO even if it does manage to successfully reformat the drive I am not sure I would trust it anyway and still request a replacement.
