Red X on DVR

Have a RED X (4) after recovery attempt on DVR

  1. Check the client location.
  2. Perform a format check to ensure a valid box is where is should be and provisioned.

 

X 4?  Is this a replacement dvr?  I think you need to call tech support (800-288-2020) for this one - maybe check it's still provisioned.

 

What did you do for that "recovery attempt"?

This issue has been resolved.

Nothing actually wrong with the DVR.

After a 50 min hold to tech support it was discovered that Florida was having issues with TV and Internet.

This mimicked a DVR crash. After the 3rd DVR recovery attempt Red X 13 came up.

Out of five boxes one was online and 4 others were off line.

So, if you get service is not available on multiple boxes but you have one that also works, it’s more then likely a service issue and not a hardware issue
