Rick and Morty Series recording won’t record subsequent episodes

To be clear, THIS IS NOT USER ERROR. I know three dots means record season. I know that you have to set for it to record first run and reruns and have to set to any time any day. I previously posted this and it was set as solved with an explanation of how to record shows with U-verse. I also have no other recordings of this show on my dvr.

Since I previously posted the system set for 4 random episodes to record that were later removed before recording. (I believe June 4th-June 8th).

For the last year, whenever I create a season recording for the show Rick and Morty (on U-verse) only the initial episode records. No matter what setting are used only one episode will record and no subsequent episode will record. This occurs for every channel on which the show airs.

What option do I have to not have to manually set every episode to record?

Hi There @herbie_6992

Rick and Morty is a great show!  Recording and playing back your favorite episodes is a great way to enjoy your time or laugh yourself silly. We can help.

According to this link: Fix U-verse TV Recording Issues it tells us that to record a series from the guide you need to press the record button twice on the time slot on the guide.  Now you do want to make sure that you do not create a conflict. The DVR can only record one channel at a time. Depending on the episodes(back to back) you may need to extend the time frame of the recording to make sure DVR records all the episodes.

Also, you want to make sure that you record in the right format. HD channels have a higher compression rate, which means that the file size of the recording is bigger, thus it takes up more storage space. SD channels are the exact opposite. So take in effect the storage of your DVR, the faster it fills up, the less likely the recordings will take.
