S20 Remote - Control Audio Receiver Inputs

I received a replacement S20 Uverse remote today.  I programmed it to control my TV and Audio Receiver.  The remote has a "TV Input" button.  Since my PlayStation, Chromecast, etc are hooked up to my reciever and not my TV, I would like the "TV Input" button to control the inputs on the receiver and not the TV.  I can't figure out how to do this.

There are no guarantees that the TV/video button will work for anything. It will be associated with the set of buttons for the mode button.

Meaning - Press the TV button first & the tv/video button will apply to the TV (if it works).

If you want it to apply to your AR. press the AUX button first. If it does not do anything, try all the buttons after pressing AUX. Perhaps the menu button will include input selection.

If you need to step up to a more robust remote Logitech Harmony is first choice. A less expensive one - http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=RCRP05BR

There is no "Aux" button on the S20 remote.  The S10 remote has "TV", "DVD", "AUX" buttons on it.  My S10 remote worked like a charm to control my reciever inputs as well as surfing the various menus on my TV.

That sure sounds like a big step backwards. I thought all black remotes were S-20. Thanks for straightening me out.

But, you say you programmed your receiver. If no AUX button what button? When the button that controls the receiver is active, press each button to determine what it can do to the receiver trying to find an input selector.

Try e-bay & local thrift stores to find s-10 remotes
