Service Connection Update (new wireless receiver)

Just got a replacement wireless receiver -ISB7105 - but the previous was a 7005. So it has a connection, but get a message that says it is temporarily unable to connect. It has an countdown timer to auto retry, and options to refresh or reboot. None of them work. I have let the timer retry twice as well. I have also read a few other old similar posts, but saw no resolutions. Does it have anything to do with it being a different model?

I suspect that the WAP still thinks it's paired with the old wireless receiver.  So I suggest a full system reboot.  Try the following in the specified order:

  1. Unplug the gateway, DVR, WAP, all wireless receivers.
  2. After at least 15 secs. plug the gateway back in an let if fully reboot.
  3. Plug the DVR back in.  Wait for it to fully reboot too.
  4. Plug the WAP back in.
  5. Finally plug the wireless receivers back in.

Probably don't need to reboot the dvr for your case but I included it anyhow.  Hopefully now your new wireless receiver will (want to) pair with the WAP.
