Set series record, it only schedules a recording for the first few episodes

Killing Eve is finally playing reruns again. There are only 8 episodes and I want to record them all so I can watch it whenever I want.

So I go to the series page. 8upcoming episodes, right? I select record series, all upcoming episodes, ok. Go back to series list... It's only set to record the first 3. I cancel series. I set to record all episodes again just in case there was a mistake. No. Still only recording the first 3. I try setting the series on a different channel (there's BBCA and then BBCAHD, basically the same thing). Still only recording the first 3.

If I record them separately they show up on the list 1 by 1 rather than there being a folder saying "Killing Eve (8)" which is also stupid. I don't know when they are going to put the show on again since it's only showing scheduled recordings for Sunday the 22nd. Why is it only recording the first 3 rather than the entire series?

Is this using the app because I can schedule all 8 on 7/22 with no problems directly on the dvr?  Did you set the option for any day, anytime?

This is on the TV, I don't have an app

Don't know then.  I have no problem setting the dvr.  Note I edited my previous post (8 episodes, not 6 and I asked if you set for any day, anytime).

When in doubt, reboot.  Reboot the dvr (pull plug for 15 secs.)

Yes, it's set for any day any time. To test, FXX has Simpsons on pretty
much all day every day. I set series record for the Simpsons and it says I
have 80+ Simpsons scheduled no problem.

Since I cannot reproduce your problem I do not have any suggestions (other than the reboot) to offer.

One final question though.  Where is your grid horizon, i.e., does your grid end somewhere in that block of time those 8 episodes are in?  Some people are complaing about the  grid not going out the full 2 weeks.  So that's what prompts this question.  Certainly the number of scheduled records aren't going past the horizon (which begs the question why would anyone want to see 80+ Simpsons over the next two weeks? Man Surprised Man LOL - that's a rhetorical question)

We have two DVRs in the apartment so I rebooted them both, then checked
Killing Eve and it still only had the first 3 scheduled. I canceled series
then recorded series again just in case. No change. I even went to the
other box and scheduled series from there... still no change 😖

I wanted to test again, saw commercials for a Doctor Who marathon on BBCA.
Which is the same channel Killing Eve is on. Scheduled recordings for DrWho
and it scheduled ALL upcoming episodes with no issue. It seems to only be
happening to Killing Eve.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by grid, but I have others shows
scheduled that go past 7/22 (which is the day Killing Eve re-airs the first
season) so I don't think it's that.

Grid, as in what you see when you push the guide button or bring up the Favorites pushing the yellow A triangle button.

You don't have two dvrs.  You can only have one.  The other is just a receiver.  The dvr is the one wired to the gateway (router/modem) which in turn is wired to some wall connection to get outside.  The other is either wired to the gateway or is wireless, in which case there is a WAP (little black box) ethernet connected to the gateway.  All this is FYI.  It has no bearing on your problem.

If this is only happening with this one series then why not just give up and program all 8 episodes either individually or manually as a one long block of time? Trying to understand this is costing you more time (and aggregation?) than it would to do either of those two techniques.  Obviously at this point you aren't going to get it "fixed" particularly if no one else can reproduce it.   If you are not satisfied with this idea then try to get a replacement dvr (call tech support 800-288-2020).  You will lose all your recordings of course but not your scheduling.
