Silver remote replacement

Some of the numbers on my silver u verse remote no longer work properly. I have changed the batteries and tried re programming to no avail. How do I get this remote replaced?

When I have a remote go out, I call technical support, which is available 24/7, at 800.288.2020. Technical Support has sent me free new remotes twice when mine have gone out. Both times the remotes have been black, and they were a bit different from each other.

 

I feel this method is easier and faster than sending a Private Message or email to U-verse Customer Care, and waiting two to three business days for the blue envelope to indicate that you have an email from them. You cannot always be available for them to contact you by phone if you work or have other obligations.
