TV picture to tile, pixelate or freezing
We are working with several ATT techs on this problem. Can somebody have any idea?
I have 3-way spliter for coax going to 3 rooms + 1 wireless receiver. Until 1 week ago we had no problem. Now the all TV pixelate or freezing every 20 seconds ONLY when all 3 TV runnings together.
If ANY of the TWO coax cables are disconected on spliter, the third TV works flavlesly. In other words, EACH line and TV is working fine SEPARATELY until other coax cable is added to the spliter. Order of connection make no diferents.
Technician already replaced modem, 3 way spliter, wall and coax connectors.
There is also strange error msg. on wireless TV receiver. When all 3 coax TV's working, ofter turn on wireles display: No more HD channels aviable. Please turn some other TV off.
Thank you

Hi @bobreber,
Was the three way splitter placed by the tech? If not, that could be the issue. Non-att splitters are known to cause issues. If not, there could be voltage coming from one of the TVs. It is rare but happens.

Yes of course. It was placed by ATT tech 2 and 1/2 year ago, when the service was installed. 3 days ago it was REPLACED by ATT tech without affect.

There is really 2 TV and 1 LCD projector connected to 1 DVR and 2 regular boxes. They all are connected by HDMI cable. Single connection (on the 3 way spliter OR DIRECT connection) give clear smoot HD picture, ANY COMBINATION of two or more will start pixalation and freezing.
Thank you for your repply

Hi @daggerdag,
When the issue started to occur, did anything change? Did any storms come in and knockdown service? Last, are any devices like a playstation or xbox plugged into the ethernet port of the receiver?

10 day's ago we last all services - internet, TV and phone. Tech. support was call and they send technician the following day. He was able to fix it.
Since he was there already, I ask him to MOVE TV box from one room into other room. That represented DISCONNECT one coax cable from 3 way splitter, make new connector for pre-installed other coax cable and reconnect it on 3 way splitter. At the same time, we TURN ON wireless receiver and placed it in the room used to have coax connection before. (Wireless box was ordered 2 years ago during installation of service, however we never used it until now). That way we should gain 3 TV on coax and 1 on wireles. (We purchace new furniture with new TV stand in other room, so we would like to having one TV set in that NEW room).
Are any devices like a playstation or xbox plugged into the ethernet port of the receiver?
No. We have 1 DVR + 2 TV boxes: coax IN and HDMI OUT only.

Nothing like that. (No service light on modem and broadband 1 and 2 was flashing red). However, maintenance tech replaced some part in the outside box and we get service back.
Yesterday we find out important fact: if ALL (3) TV's are tuned on the SAME channel, then there is no pixilation and no freezing of picture in any of the TV's. When one of the TV (box) is tuned to different channel, pixilation start to the point of picture pixilation and then freezing ON ALL TV's.
