Universal Remote for Uverse Cable Box

Hello,

I have a Bose Soundtouch 120 Home theater system. I would like to use the Bose universal remote to control my ATT DVR. My DVR model is the Pace IPH8010. I am having trouble finding the universal remote code for this cable box to program it with my Bose Universal Remote. I have tried some codes I found searching online for different Pace products and these did not work. I cannot find the specific code for the IPH8010. Does anyone know where I can find this?

It doesn't matter which uverse model dvr you have since they all accept the same IR signals from any of the att remotes (silver, s10, s20, s30, "point anywhere" rf).  Or to put it another way those remotes control all the att dvr's and receivers without out any specific programming.  Their programming codes are to get those remotes to control (mainly on/off, volume) the device attached to the dvr or receiver.  THis is why you cannot find the codes for the dvr or receiver to control them.

The problem with universal remotes is you need to have one that is documented as att uverse compatible.  Apparently a Bose remote may not be.  However I did a little searching and found this pdf which lists device codes for various tv's and services for Bose universal remotes.  For uverse it shows 7692.  Whether that works or not for your specific Bose remote is for you to determine.
