Uverse equipment return

I have cancelled my U-verse but am keeping internet.  I want to make sure I am returning all the equipment necessary, i.e.:  receivers, power cords and remotes.  I will retain the gateway modem, the fiber modem and the wireless connector.  Is this correct?

To answer your question

You are correct about what equipment you need to return and what you can keep. Here is a summary:

To return your equipment, you have a few options:

  • You can take your unboxed equipment and nine-digit account number to a company-owned FedEx Office Pack and Ship or The UPS Store. They will send your equipment back to AT&T at no charge to you. You’ll get a receipt confirming your return.
  • Please make sure to return your equipment within 21 days of the service change or disconnect date to avoid a non-return fee.

Keep any receipts that you get in a safe place and for a loooong time.  Too often we see posts about customers getting emails trying to bill them for equipment that has been returned.  😳
